The Huldufólk or Hidden People are a race of elves that originate from Icelandic/Faroese Folklore, they behave much like us humans and bare a strong resemblance to us, the huldufólk are noteworthy for their natural ability to make themselves invisible at will.

In Faroese folklore, huldufólk are described as being large in build, wearing grey clothes, and having hair as black as coal.

When Christianity was adopted as the major religion in Iceland in the 11th Century, they were given the two possible origins, the first of which involves the huldufólk of being unwashed children of Eve who she hid away from God and lied about their existence. God in his omnipotence knew of their existence declared: "What man hides from God, God will hide from man." Their second origin has them being the children of Lilith (The first wife of Adam).
